Terra Nova - The Story

TERRA NOVA follows an ordinary family embark on an incredible journey through time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a mass experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149 the world will die. The planet is overdeveloped, overcrowded and over-polluted. With the majority of plant and animal species extinct, dedication to science has brought mankind to the brink of destruction, but also gave his only hope of salvation.

Knowing that there is no way to reverse the damage done to the planet, a coalition of scientists has managed to open a rift in the space-time continuum, creating a portal to the prehistoric land. This door leads to a beautiful world, one that allows for a final effort to save the human race ... maybe change the future by correcting the mistakes of the past.

The series centers on Shannan's family as they participate in the pilgrimage tenth of colonists to Terra Nova, the first settlement of rights in this second chance for civilization. JIM SHANNON, a devoted father with a checkered past, guides her family through this new land of beauty, mystery and terror without limits. Jim's wife, SHANNON ELIZABETH, is a trauma surgeon chosen through a global lottery as a new addition to the medical team at Terra Nova. Josh Shannon is their son, mourning for the girl he left behind, as he is torn between two models - his father and charismatic commander Frank Taylor, head of the colony, and the heroic pioneer the first time portal. MADDY SHANNON, teenage daughter of Jim and Elizabeth, is also independent and adventurous than their parents, but his distrust of authority led upon a dangerous path.

In addition to blue skies, rolling rivers and lush vegetation, TERRA NOVA offers new possibilities and fresh beginnings to its recent arrivals, but the Shannan have brought with them a family secret that could jeopardize their citizenship in this utopia. In addition, these adventurers will soon discover that healthy, vibrant in the world is not as idyllic as it seems. The vicinity of Terra Nova are filled with dangerous dinosaurs and other prehistoric threats and external forces that may be intended to destroy this new world before it starts.

But perhaps even more threatening than what lies outside the walls of protection is the Shannons' awareness that something sinister may be produced within TERRA NOVA not everyone on this mission has the same intentions in the best way to save humanity.
